Mile 10

Savannah and Matt were running in silence. This is what they would have said:

Savannah – I'm so excited to see you again! I was jumping out of my seat. It’s good they have seat belts on the aircraft!
Matt – Do we have to wait for a race to meet? Now, I’ve got to run a marathon each time to see you? There’s got to be an easier way!
“So ...what’s your next race event?” They asked each other almost in unison.
